Uscom China Sponsors 2 Koalas in Taronga Zoo Sydney
Our Uscom China team in Beijing has sponsored 2 of Taronga Zoo’s Koalas through their Zoo Parent Sponsorships program. The lovable koalas adopted by Uscom China are Baxter and Stormi, who are being cared for at Taronga Zoo, Sydney.

Estimates suggest koalas are on a trajectory to extinction by 2050 unless urgent conservation actions are taken – it was estimated that nearly 1/3 of all Australian koalas died in Australia’s recent tragic bushfires. These widespread fires resulted in a catastrophic loss of Koala populations and vital Koala habitat.
Uscom China’s sponsorship will assist Taronga to care for injured koalas, restore their habitats, and breed insurance populations to ensure this precious species is preserved for generations to come.
