Uscom China Ranked AAA Credit Enterprise

AAA (the highest credit ranking) is granted to Uscom China according to GB/T23794-2015 standard, based on the company’s credit record, operating conditions, debt risks, development prospect, social comments and public recognition. The credit ranking is formally announced to the society after the all-round strict and comprehensive assessment. The certificate is valid for three years to June 8th 2024.

Uscom China got AAA ranking for its awareness of quality, service, contracts, and credibility, and is honored as “Enterprise with Integrity for Quality and Service” and “Sample Site of Business with Integrity”. The AAA ranking improves credibility to some tenders and
Government grants, and demonstrates strengths to support strategic partnership with manufacturers and distributors.

Background:

Uscom has operated in China for over 15 years, and in 2018 opened its wholly owned Uscom China subsidiary in Beijing, appointing Ms Teresa Guo as General Manager. This award further recognises the talent of the management in Uscom China as it has rapidly evolved to be Uscom’s fastest growing and largest global subsidiary establishing a rapidly expanded sales and distribution network and delivering the USCOM 1A into China’s regional hospitals. The noninvasive ultrasonic Doppler hemodynamic monitor (featured by USCOM 1A) was recommended as a preferred method for management of severe COVID-19 infection by National Health Commission of PRC, and USCOM 1A was used in more than 56 COVID-19 designated China hospitals.

Operations:

Uscom China has registered 12 Software Copyrights, 13 Trademarks, and 4 trademark Copyrights with the National Copyright Administration of the People’s Republic of China, protecting Uscom’s core technologies and algorithms in the Chinese market. Uscom China was awarded National High Technology Enterprise status by the High Torch branch of the PRC Ministry of Science and Technology in December 2020. Uscom also received NMPA approval for sale of its patent-protected BP+ into the Chinese market in May, and is currently identifying specialised sales teams in preparation for China and international marketing. Uscom China has recently lodged NMPA applications for two new Uscom monitors, the O2 and the Basic monitors designed for advanced and entry-level digital ultrasonic cardiovascular monitoring, and the Uscom SpiroSonic devices. These are expected to be NMPA approved over the next 12-18 months.

Commentary:

Executive Chairman of Uscom, Professor Rob Phillips said “Uscom’s business in China continues to grow and Uscom is being encouraged by the Chinese authorities to develop leading medical technology and commercial enterprise. We have invested in our business in China and it is gratifying to see this high-level recognition from Chinese agencies. Having both Mr Meng as a Non-Executive Board member and Ms Guo as our China GM ensures we have direct contact with the market, and, combined with strong local support, promotes our continued growth in China and globally. Uscom is being recognised as we plan the development of new technologies and devices.”

Uscom devices:

Uscom manufactures and markets the USCOM 1A hemodynamic monitor, the Uscom BP+, central blood pressure and vascular health monitor, the Uscom SpiroSonic digital ultrasonic spirometers, and the VENTITEST ultrasonic ventilator calibrators for optimising respiratory device performance.
